Programs

Enterprise also operates special programs to reach and positively impact certain high priority population and market segments. These programs enable Enterprise Cascadia to deliver its products in ways that increase the chances of achieving measurable results that matter most to beneficiaries.  The programs are operated in collaboration with those constituencies and their leaders.

Enterprise Cascadia's programs include:
  • Energy Efficiency was modeled after the Septic Loan to deliver financing at affordable rates to implement energy efficiency measures in homes, achieving reduced CO2, increased ‘green collar’ jobs, reduced homeowner energy costs and increased home tenure.
  • Hispanic Community Services Initiative provides financial education and training, community services and financial products to the Hispanic community of the Lower Columbia Region in partnership with the Lower Columbia Hispanic Council;
  • Indian Country Initiative works directly with Tribal governments and their members.  The purpose of the initiative is to increase transactions and partnerships with individual entrepreneurs and Tribal nations in a manner consistent with stated beliefs, sovereignty, and community goals; and
  • Septic Loan is structured to reduce or eliminate the financial barriers preventing property owners from embarking on actions to repair, upgrade, or replace failed or ineffective on-site septic systems in Mason, Kitsap, Jefferson and Pacific counties, and the Port Gamble S’Klallam and Skokomish Tribes. Loan proceeds can cover 100 percent of the costs of designing, permitting, installing, and maintaining a septic system.
